I have the Kegco and love it. one of the best brewery upgrades I have made. Any 3 roller mill will do the job, I just could not see spending the money on a big brand name. this mill has sealed ball bearings, not bushings, so if you decide to motorize it sometime the bearings will take the load.

These rollers are 6" long and 1.5" in diameter. They fit all of our base level MM-2 and MM-3 mills. They do NOT fit the Pro Series or 2.0 series mills which have 2" diameter rollers. If you have a brewery or commercial application, you are most likely NOT using this roller.
Consider that the MM2-2.0 comes with a 1/2 inch shaft only, while the MM3 (non-2.0) can be had in either 3/8 or (for an extra $5) 1/2 inch shaft. It only matters if you already have a strong corded drill that happens to have a 3/8 chuck.

Thanks for all the advice. I actually looked at the upgraded MM2-2.0 and it specifically says that it will crack corn. It has a wider gap which seems to be the problem with the others. I cannot look at them side-by-side but Monster makes it sound as if the newer version is just heavier overall (frame, rollers, etc).
